MIR3 Kicks off 'Business Continuity for the Real World' Webinar Series; First Installment Focuses on Healthcare

During this webinar series, business continuity expert Greg Livingston of Centurion Compliance Partners will guide attendees through the issues, regulations and risks associated with specific industries of focus, including healthcare, finance and energy.

For the first webinar, Business Continuity for the Real World: Healthcare, Livingston will moderate a conversation with Emergency Management Coordinator and Director and MIR3 customers, Joseph Martino and Mary E. Mahoney, from North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System (LIJ). As the nation's second-largest, nonprofit, secular healthcare system and sixteenth-largest integrated healthcare network serving seven million, North Shore LIJ faces many unique challenges related to maintaining normal and continuous business operations. Well versed in the critical business functions required to keep a massive healthcare network running smoothly, Martino and Mahoney will share what makes their organization unique and the challenges they face. Livingston will then provide an overview of the regulatory challenges in healthcare and discuss how business continuity is managed in North Shore LIJ's real-world situation, concluding with tips on how healthcare organizations can better prepare and plan for business continuity. Listeners will have the opportunity to ask questions.
