The Battle of the Platforms is intended to highlight network platforms and how the migration to these new independent systems make it economically feasible for all markets to adopt M2M. Highlighting the adoption and adaptation of these platforms, judging will evaluate the impacting development and business intelligence for wholesale (carrier) and enterprise solutions. The Battle of the Platforms offers four categories to choose from:
- Enabling Independent Applications Developer to work with M2M devices
- Platform for Best BI Controls Solutions
- Platform for Service Providers to support wholesale services
- Platform for Enterprise Deployment
Deadline for entries is August 30, 2012. Entrants will make a 10-minute live presentation/demonstration at the M2M Evolution Conference & Expo pre-conference on October 2, 2012. Five winners will be selected, one from each category plus an overall winner.
