Zephyr Technology, a company that deals in remote physiologic monitoring, recently announced that it has collaborated with Massachusetts General Hospital for ZephyrLIFE Monitoring System. BioHarness and ZephyrLIFE Monitoring System will be evaluated by Massachusetts General Hospital before being deployed.
The ZephyrLIFE system combines multi-parameter vital signs, encrypted wireless communications and an intuitive notification engine to deliver seamless patient monitoring for general care. ZephyrLIFE allows the seamless monitoring of up to 50 patients – providing minute-by-minute updates as well as instant physiological alerts sent to the clinical care team via text message.
On the other hand, BioHarness couples the pioneering Smart Fabric sensor technology of the comfortable and unobtrusive BioHarness garment with the power and ubiquity of Bluetooth. BioHarness enables the capture and transmission of comprehensive physiological data on the wearer via mobile and fixed data networks – enabling genuine remote monitoring of human performance and condition in the real world. BioHarness BT has applications in any field requiring high-level wireless and remote physiological monitoring, including research, training and tele-health situations.

Recently, Zephyr Technology Corporation announces HxM Smart, a new and disruptive heart rate monitor platform to its consumer products portfolio.
