Makers of the self-named popular, tiny Bluetooth location sticker Stick-N-Find Technologies, held a press conference at the Mobile World Congress 2013, in which they announced major updates to their flagship product.
“We have been working day and night to make the StickNFind Stickers amazing,” said the company’s CEO Jimmy Buchheim. “Our focus has been on reliability and ease of use. Our goal was the ability to pinpoint the sticker in a large house, without the necessity of the buzzer feature.”
Ease of use sums up the four changes and updates to the StickNFind the company mentioned in their MWC announcement.
Now StickNFind stickers will have an extended range of up to 150 feet, using a custom-designed antenna along with a proprietary, mixed and nonabsorbent plastic casing, which allows for expanded reach.
The company also completely redesigned their mobile app to appeal to more to consumers on-the-go, with easier operation.
One update the company is most excited about is the addition of a Precise Radar Resolution feature.
As Buchheim explains, “Our radar resolution is now so high, the App will guide any user within inches from the sticker.”
The company also noted that shipping of its enhanced product will begin next week, which is an entire month ahead of the projected schedule. Early shipment is not native to the crowd-funding industry, so those at StickNFind see this as another significant accomplishment, and evidence of their hard work.
“We have been working very closely with our suppliers, we even produced our first 20,000 stickers in the USA, to ensure that we shipped before our promised dates (originally March 31st),” said Buchheim. “It was exciting for us to announce the shipped date for our contributors.”
Although the company has obviously invested much time, money and energy into updating and improving the StickNFind sticker, they do not plan to rest on their laurels.
“We will continue to make improvements on the performance and form factor of StickNFind,” Buchheim added.
